1) Start next season, Learn everything about every animal you may want to catch. EAT< SLEEP< LIVE< HABITAT<HABITS<ECT.
2) Get some one to show you the basics.
3) Attend the MT&PCA Convention in August.
4) Bring Money
5) Take the Michigan trappers education course.
6) Get some one to show you the basics.
7) Start off with COON, And rats.

Dont forget to have fun, if you started know you would lose interest in trapping very fast. We are close to the end of our season, and wiht the end it get slow. Read, and take in as much info as you can this sumer. Then put it to use the next season.

Like Jon said- come to our Convention, attend the demos, talk to trappers, ask questions, get your gear, and you will be off to the races!

ask for memberships/subscriptions to MTA, NTA, Furtakers, Trappers World, Trappers Post from friends and loved ones as gifts for your birthday/Christmas/anniversary etc.

Also, get catalogs from trapping suppliers and circle gear you'll need and also ask for gifts

Welcome to the family!
